Zoya Kopelman

Scholar of Literature

Literary critic and translator, Dr. Zoya Kopelman has an MSc in Electronic Engineering from Moscow, and an MA and a PhD in Hebrew Literature from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Zoya serves as a teaching coordinator of Israel’s Open University Russian program and is a lecturer at the Melton Jewish Education Institute and at the Chais Center for Russian Studies at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. Zoya is also a researcher, academic editor and contributor for the Russian Jewish Encyclopedia, with a focus on Israeli and Hebrew authors.
