Ido received his MA in Education from Tel-Aviv University, graduated from Tel-Aviv Theater School, took a course in cinematography, studied art in Florence, philosophy in Tel-Aviv, headed an art department in Askola College (Tel-Aviv). At present teaches Hebrew at the Institute of Asian and African Studies (Moscow State University).
